Coast Burbank Hotel

The hotel is a wonderful boutique like hotel experience. Attentive and very friendly staff that went above and beyond to make our stay a great vacation. Convenient Shuttle to and from the Airport and Warner Brothers Studio. Great restaurant, the Olive Bistro right off the lobby with great food and a fun cocktail area. The Hotel is Located in a beautiful quiet neighborhood with lots of unique 5 star coffee shops and restaurants as well. We loved our stay here and will be back again!

The wait staff was very helpful and accommodating, the room was well set up with comfy beds. The bathroom included a spacious shower and great lighting. Plenty of towels and toiletries offered. The only concern was the hotel gym was a bit small and outdated but this is didn't detract from the hotel experience overall. Definitely recommend the stay, I will look forward to trying out the Bistro if I get another chance.

We were looking for an affordable hotel near Universal Studios and Coast Burbank is a hidden gem in a nice area. It was very affordable, but also extremely clean, quiet, and had excellent service at the front desk and in the restaurant. The room itself was wonderful: large shower with two shower heads, double sinks in the bathroom, bathrobes, soft towels, and comfortable beds. There was a fridge in the room but no microwave. However, they do have a microwave guests can use on the 1st floor. Laundry, gym, and outdoor pool are located next door at the Safari Inn that you can use since they're owned by the same company. I loved that they have a free shuttle to and from Universal, but you do need to make reservations in advance because the spots fill up quickly. We were only able to use the shuttle one of our two days at the park, but that was our fault for not planning far enough in advance. We would absolutely return here if we're ever in the area again!

I’d like to thank Valerie at the front desk as well as the shuttle drivers. They are super nice and helpful. They would be the reason our family would return. THANK YOU SO MUCH! The hotel is a nice spot. The only thing that can use some attention… The water pressure in the shower is a little low. Other than that, it was clean and we had a very nice and comfortable stay.

Update: Sadly I need to update my review. I stayed at this hotel for the first time in a while and it has completely changed. The food is no longer good, overpriced, and cheap quality. Seems like room service is gone as well. The bar downstairs barely has anything stocked and the bartender even told us that. You also can no longer buy snacks or water by the front desk so that took a lot of convenience out of the hotel. Makes me wonder what happened to this place. It used to feel like there was a lot of pride and care into it, now it’s just a standard hotel. Truthfully, it wouldn’t be so bad if they cut the cost of rooms, but what they are currently, definitely isn’t worth the cost unless it’s a cheaper weekend than the normal price. This hotel is really nice if you get a room away from the main road, but if you get a room facing the street it’s pretty noisy at night and disruptive especially since I’m a light sleeper. The beds are comfortable and they have luxurious showers in the bathrooms. There is a shuttle but it’s a little difficult to utilize. You have to schedule a specific time slot and it doesn’t run very late so you’d have to leave before park closing. Most hotels run on an hourly schedule so you don’t have to plan so far ahead. With a long drive up to this area it’s impossible to predict when we’d arrive because of traffic. Anytime we’ve been able to use the shuttle the drivers are always so kind. We’ve never had any problems with the staff here, they’ve all been accommodating and wonderful. Overall is a very nice hotel if you can get a room that isn’t near all the noise. Some weekends are more expensive than others so my husband and I can’t stay here everytime we visit universal studios, but every now and then it’s nice to do!

We had a great time at Coast. Olive’s Bistro was a quiet and lovely time for breakfast. Dennis of Dennis’ bar was a welcoming face and we had many laughs. Safari Inn was nice to jump over to and do a quick load of laundry. The shuttle to Universal was also a nice perk. Close to a lot of things without being in busy LA. Slept great and felt well taken care of. Thanks Coast!

The hotel was over all pretty nice, the front desk Larisa was the absolute best! The hotel seemed clean through out, although there is a very strong smell the second you walk through the doors, it’s not a bad smell, more like perfume but it’s just very strong! The rooms were clean and nice, my only complaint was there was no charging ports close to the beds. My only real complaint was the other front desk host yelled out our room number instead of writing it down for us. Which I really didn’t like as we were two woman traveling alone! The drivers were also very nice especially Luis! He went above and beyond for us!

The front desk staff are professional, helpful, and go out of their way to insure you have everything you need to have a comfortable stay. They rate a 5 out of 5. The property is clean and very convenient. The bathrooms are what you would expect to find in a nice resort. Close to Burbank airport and very convenient. Would definitely stay there again.
